Spring/Summer is all about a bright pink lip! I loved the color that Lucia Pieroni for MAC choose on the Giles runway. It’s the perfect bright pink and a fun alternative to a red lip.  Lucia used the MAC lip pencil in color Embrace Me and filled out the entire lip with it.  Other great alternatives are Giorgio Armani Rouge d’armani sheers in 500 and 501, whereas the 501 is a touch more coral-y then the 500, which is really more of a true pink. The Embrace Me lip pencil is a matte pink and calls for a more precise application, whereas both Armani lipsticks are sheer and in my opinion a better day look.

I tried the MAC lip pencil version for the pictures and usually I m not a huge fan of other colors than just a plain classic red lip for going out, but I must say this was quiet a nice change to get out of my boring shell!

PS: I ordered the MAC Embrace Me lip pencil on Amazon.com, as it was not available in stores as it is a special edition color. Gotta love Amazon!
