I absolutely love the femininity and delicate detail of all the beautiful dresses from the Dior show in Paris.  I especially appreciate how it was combined with strong silver jewelry and “undone” hair to off set the feminine dresses. I like that combination of having something perfect and undoing it a bit with something unexpected. I love wearing my evening dresses with a leather jacket and leaving my hair open and undone. Sometimes I throw in a  men’s watch instead of opting for delicate jewelry. It gives it a bit more character and doesn’t look so perfect. When I saw the images on STYLE.COM of Dior’s recent fashion show, I immediately thought  of taking out my  silver jewelry again! I haven’t worn or combined my silver jewelry for a while and mainly stuck to yellow and rose golds.

Michael Kors makes beautiful watches in silver that resemble Rolex watches that can be combined with pretty pastel colored long delicate dresses for your next event. Ippolita & David Yurman have a great selection of chunkier bangles that look beautiful layered.
